加拿大蒙特利尔大学博士后职位招聘–生物化学或相关领域
The applicant must hold a PhD in biochemistry or a related field.
These individuals will work to uncover mechanisms of cellular transformation and metastasis, and identify novel targets for drug discovery. Of particular interest are networks transmitting signals to/from RAS GTPases, and related cancer-initiating pathways.
Study of these problems will entail a multidisciplinary approach via application of cutting-edge experimental methods in structural biology, biophysics, bioinformatics, and cell biology. The goal is a comprehensive mechanistic understanding of protein function and its resultant impact on biology, with the possibility to employ the drug discovery capabilities of IRIC.
The successful applicant must have experience with either (or all of) protein NMR spectroscopy, solving protein structures by X-Ray crystallography or cryo-EM and a strong desire to integrate this with biological and other biophysical data.
The position is fully funded for the next 2 years and applications are invited from all qualified candidates including racialized persons/visible minorities, Indigenous persons, persons with disabilities, persons of minority sexual orientations or gender identities, and others. The application package must include a CV, cover letter and representative publication derived from the applicant(s) doctoral work. Applications that do not include each of these elements will not be considered.
