Job Summary:The Learning & Instruction Department (L&I) at the University of San Francisco (USF) School
of Education is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow with expertise in learning sciences, educational psychology, or a closely related field, with specialization in areas such as
cognitive psychology, human development, educational technology, learning theory, or
instructional design. This position offers an opportunity to engage in teaching, research, and

Full Job Description:
Responsibilities:
● Teach foundational and methodological coursework in the L&I program.
● Provide guidance, mentorship, and advising to doctoral students, potentially serving on
dissertation committees.
● Conduct research and publish scholarly work in your area of expertise.
● Collaborate with senior faculty members in the School of Education and contribute to the
department’s scholarly community.
● Potentially teach and serve in the General Education department to provide qualitative
and/or quantitative methodological training for masters and doctoral students.
Qualifications:
● Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in education with expertise in educational psychology,
learning sciences or a closely related field.
● A knowledge of critical quantitative, qualitative, and/or mixed methodologies.
● Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
● Previous experience or potential for excellence in higher education teaching.
