得克萨斯大学安德森癌症中心博士后职位招聘–癌症生物学或分子生物学或表观遗传学领域
Job Description
Post-doctoral Positions: The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center
Research Field: Epigenetics and Cancer
Disciplines: Molecular Biology and Cancer Biology
Postdoctoral positions are immediately available. These positions offer an exceptional opportunity to study epigenetic regulation of cancer. The research in the laboratory focuses on understanding the roles of epigenetic modifiers in regulating cancer-epigenetic events. In particular, we seek to identify novel functions of epigenetic modifiers (with an emphasis of histone methylation modifiers) and their new partner proteins in tumor suppression, tumorigenesis and cellular differentiation.
In fact, we have discovered new histone methylation modifiers, characterized histone methylation modifiers as a stemness or differentiation factor, and identified histone methylation modifiers/readers as oncogenic factors or tumor suppressors. Some of our selected publications include Nature Commun (2022), Cancer Cell (2020), Nature Commun (2019), Molecular Cell (2018), Molecular Cell (2016), J Clin Invest (2013), Genes & Dev (2012), Cell (2007), and Science (2007).
We closely collaborate with many outstanding groups in The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baylor College of Medicine, Harvard University, and other prestigious institutes in the US.
A Ph.D. and publications in the field of cancer biology or molecular biology or epigenetics are required. A recent Ph.D. (no more than 2-3 years) is preferred.
Please understand that applicants who are deemed suitable for these positions would be contacted for further information. Salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience and qualifications according to the NIH and institutional guideline.
