USCs Keck School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to join our health systems science research team.
The Gehr Center for Health Systems Science and Innovation focuses on building the research and evidence base for all patients to have equitable access to high-quality, evidenced-based health care. Our teams multidisciplinary approach incorporates multiple perspectives to (1) identify gaps in the evidence about what does or could work, from multiple perspectives; (2) apply our analytic skills and methods to obtain, synthesize, and interpret relevant data in creative ways, and share these innovations with others; (3) educate and mentor clinicians, students, community members, health care leaders, and each other about innovative ways to explore and address disparities in health care delivery to elevate these issues within the field of health services research; and (4) promote and advocate for evidence-based change generated by our research that is applicable and sustainable in the real world (i.e., implementation science), shifts policies and systems towards equity, and holds our health care delivery systems accountable for realizing their potential to improve the health of the many, not just the few.
