丹麦技术大学博士后职位招聘–热泵和区域能源(加热和冷却)系统方面

We are looking for a passionate Postdoctoral Researcher in Thermal Energy with a strong research background in heat pumps and district energy (heating and cooling) systems with competitive skills in MATLAB/EES programming and Evolutionary Optimization Methods for techno-economic optimization tasks. This position is on two externally funded projects of the TES Section on the development of advanced heat pump solutions in connection with innovative district heating and cooling networks. You will be part of a very dedicated team with several more PhD and postdoc researchers, focusing on cutting-edge and applied research to address the challenges of energy systems towards sustainability.
Responsibilities and qualifications
We are looking for a candidate for a Postdoctoral Researcher position (2 years, full-time) to focus on the projects’ topics. We expect that the candidate can perform rigorous and relevant research using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods and extend collaborations with key academic and industrial partners at both a national and international level. We also expect that the candidate will disseminate their research findings in academic and practice-oriented outlets.
As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).
Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment is 2 years. The starting date is the first of May 2024 (or according to mutual agreement). The position is a full-time position.
