德克萨斯大学西南医学中心博士后职位招聘–生物化学、细胞生物学、微生物学/免疫学和/或神经生物学经验
A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Josephine Thinwa, in the Internal Medicine Department at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study the relationship autophagy and viruses that infect the brain.
Our laboratory has several exciting projects related to understanding how autophagy facilitates the clearances of virus particles and promotes immune activation in the central nervous system to improve cellular and organismal survival during virus infection.
We interested in discovering novel interactions of host proteins that regulate autophagy with viral factors at the molecular level followed by mapping how these interactions impact cellular and mammalian host response to virus infection.
Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in biochemistry, cell biology, microbiology/immunology and/or neurobiology leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is recommended.
Information on our postdoctoral training program, benefits, and a virtual tour can be found at http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/postdocs.
