The interests of the lab are in understanding how genetic and environmental factors interactions shape mucosal immunity and metabolism. Our approach includes state-of-the-art multiomics, novel organoid culture, genetically engineered murine models, and human samples. The primary focus of this position will be to study how diets modulate intestinal stem cell and immune cell homeostasis.

CRITICAL SKILLS/EXPERTISE: Experience with primary cell culture (including organoids), mouse models (breeding conditional knockouts, genotyping, and experimental procedures), flow cytometry, and microbiota analysis.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Candidates with prior experience in immunology, metabolism, developmental biology, microbiology or related fields with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
