A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the Cellular Imaging Section, Institute for Cell Engineering, and Department of Radiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. We are looking for highly qualified and creative scientists with expertise in non-invasive molecular and cellular imaging. Proficiency in cell culture techniques, animal handling, histology, mouse surgery, and injections will be a must. Our research centers around the fields of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), magnetic particle imaging (MPI), and stem cell dynamics in the context of a multiple sclerosis (MS) mouse model.
The successful applicant must have a PhD degree in biology or relevant areas obtained no later than 4 years ago, or will graduate within the next 3 months. A strong publication track record is needed. This position is for a minimum of 2 years. Salary level will conform to standard NIH and JHU pay scales.
