英国伦敦玛丽女王大学博士后职位招聘–蛋白质生物化学,晶体学,冷冻电镜,结构数据处理和分析,和/或生物物理表征领域
About the Role
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate with expertise in structural biology to join the research group of Ben Stieglitz at Queen Mary University of London. The post holder will be funded by the MRC on a project entitled “Regulation of Linear Ubiquitin Signaling in Innate Immunity”, based at the Centre for Structural Biology within the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences at QMUL.
This research position will focus on molecular mechanisms of ubiquitin conjugation in the context of immunity and inflammation. The project will take advantage of the expertise in the Stieglitz lab which centres on the structural and functional characterisation of ubiquitin ligases and its regulators.
We are supported by dedicated cryo-EM and X-ray crystallography facilities with routine access to Titan Krios microscopes (via LonCEM and eBIC) and an in-house computing infrastructure for data processing. Furthermore, our lab is well equipped for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of protein systems with biophysical instruments such as PEAQ-ITC, fluorescence spectroscopy and stopped-flow.
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual with a keen interest to drive this research project, while working with other members of the Stieglitz group and colleagues in the Centre of Structural Biology. Candidates should have experience in the areas of protein biochemistry, crystallography, cryo-EM, structural data processing and analysis, and/or biophysical characterization.
