丹麦技术大学博士后职位招聘–环境与资源工程系方向
Senior Researcher positions in toxicity characterization, assessing life cycle impacts on biodiversity, soil health and resources, prospective LCA, and absolute sustainability assessment
The Department of Environmental and Resource Engineering (DTU Sustain) at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) offers several full-time Senior Researcher Positions in Sustainability Assessment. Expected start date is early 2024.
These positions aim at developing science-based solutions for addressing society’s grand environmental sustainability challenges in a team of international front-runners in sustainability assessment, life cycle assessment (LCA) method development, and absolute sustainability assessment. We have over a 16 years period been the most publishing and cited university worldwide in the research field of life cycle assessment.

- Biodiversity and resource damage modelling and regionalization in damage assessment
- Absolute environmental sustainability assessment for chemicals and for resources
- Quantitative impact indicators and Earth system carrying capacities development
- Definition of science-based targets and allocating carrying capacities to relevant entities (e.g. sectors, companies, individuals)
- Prospective environmental sustainability assessment, including prospective inventory modelling for emerging technologies (incl. market deployment) and prospective LCA modelling
- Multi-regional input-output (MRIO) model development and applications
- Advancing chemical substitution and safe and sustainable-by-design (SSbD) methods
- Big-data and computational techniques for use in sustainability assessment
We seek candidates with a strong potential for creative and independent research, willingness to collaborate and interact with other researchers, and to disseminate research in seminars, conferences and in the classroom.
