牛津大学博士后职位招聘–T细胞免疫学和生长T细胞克隆方面
An opportunity has become available working at the Weatherall institute of Molecular Medicine with Prof. Graham Ogg’s research group. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated senior postdoctoral scientist to investigate the translational implications of mechanisms underlying human tissue T cell immune responses, studying CD1-reactive lipid-specific T cells in the blood and skin in order to define mechanisms of disease pathogenesis and to identify targets for future therapeutic intervention. The data will be used to characterise responses to novel antigens, as well as defining the responding T cells and TCR for future therapeutic development, including for inflammatory disease and cancer. The senior postdoc would work within these wider project activities, but with a particular focus on approaches to grow, investigate and manipulate the human antigen-specific T cells.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience and strong background in T cell immunology and growing T cell clones. A wide knowledge of immune data types including TCRs, available data repositories and existing tools specifically designed for analysing these data. And a Proven record of scientific publications in relevant subjects.
To be considered you should hold a Ph.D. and post-doctoral experience in a relevant subject and strong background in T cell immunology.
The successful candidate will conduct research in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment of an internationally leading research institute. They will advise and assist lab and other group members working on relevant projects. Contribute to manuscripts, presentation and other means of disseminating results.
They will benefit from the institute and wider university expertise in immunology, state-of-the-art technologies, computational biology, and big-data science. There will be opportunities to develop new models to explain differential responses of T cell populations during homeostasis, inflammation and cancer.
