POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE
at The University of Texas at Tyler Health Science Center, Tyler, Texas
Two post-doctoral positions are available immediately in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology at The University of Texas at Tyler (UTTyler) Health Science Center, Tyler, Texas, in the fields of hemostasis and thrombosis, inflammation, and cell signaling. The potential candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in one of the following fields: Biology/Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent. Demonstrable experience in using modern biochemical, cellular, and molecular research techniques is required. Experience in mouse models, confocal microscopy, and immunohistochemistry is highly desirable. Research experience in blood coagulation, inflammation, cell signaling, and related areas is highly preferred but not required
Salary will be based on qualification, experience, internal equity, and market.
UTTyler Health Science Center is the health science component of the UTTyler and a part of the internationally renowned University of Texas System. The research laboratories at UTTyler Health Science Center are housed in a modern and renovated facility, equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation. Furthermore, as part of the UT system, we can avail of the latest equipment, core facilities, advanced technology, and consulting services available at other UT campuses (UT Southwestern, M.D. Anderson, UT Health Science Center Houston, UTMB Galveston, etc.).
Tyler, a mid-sized town with a population of 120,000, is situated approximately 100 miles east of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and 100 miles west of Shreveport, Louisiana, amid beautiful lakes and the piney woods of East Texas.
