丹麦哥本哈根大学博士后职位招聘–植物与环境科学系
Postdoc in protein-protein interaction analyses Glyco-section
Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Section of Plant Glycobiology, Faculty of Science at University of Copenhagen is offering a Postdoc position. The postdoc position will be associated with the Plant Cellulose/Cell Biology research group (Prof. Staffan Persson) at the Glycobiology Section. The work aims to understand how certain proteins, involved in cytoskeletal organization and cell wall synthesis and sensing, interact with each other using proximity labelling. The research will range from understanding protein regulation visavi function, visualization of protein activities in vivo and in vitro, and elucidate how the newly identified proteins impact cell wall synthesis and cytoskeletal activities.
You will work in a highly cross-disciplinary team that includes the full range of computational biology, microscopy, molecular biology and biochemistry (approx 20 people). For the position, it is expected that you have a strong background in protein interaction analyses, cell & molecular biology of plants with a strong publication record. The successful candidate will be part of an exciting team to understand mechanisms that underpin how proteins partake in the formation of certain cell wall polymers and in cytoskeletal arrangements and functions. You will also be expected to engage in teaching, supervision of students and lab technicians, as well as actively apply for funding.
Required Qualifications:
- A PhD degree in Plant cell biology.
- Practical experience in, Protein biochemistry, Molecular & Cell Biology and/or Biomechanics & Advanced microscopy.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Professional qualifications relevant for the position.
- Publications.
- Relevant work experiences.
- Language skills.
- Creative thinking.
