美国加州大学默塞德分校博士后职位—生物钟的结构生物学
Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Structural Biology of a Circadian Clock
Univ of California Merced
A postdoctoral position on the structural biology and biochemistry of the circadian clock of cyanobacteria is open in the lab of Andy LiWang at the University of California, Merced. The project is to elucidate the mechanisms by which this clock manages to provide an internal representation of time reliably under a range of ambient conditions. The postdoc will be responsible for the design, execution, and analysis of experiments on oscillating clock reactions using biochemical and biophysical techniques. The successful candidate will conduct independent and original research in a supportive, collegial, inclusive, and highly collaborative work environment. Members of the LiWang group have many opportunities to present their work at national and international conferences. The lab is supported by awards from the NIH (R35 GM144110, 2022-2026) and DoD (81534-HC-REP, 2023-2027). (Lab website: https://faculty.ucmerced.edu/aliwang).
