Responsibilities
A postdoctoral research position is available in Dr. Jasim Ahamed’s laboratory to study the role of TGF-beta in organ fibrosis and cardiovascular disease (Antioxid Redox Signal. 2021 (PMID: 34619980); AIDS. 2020 Jun 1;34(7):989-1000 (PMID¨32167970); Blood Adv. 2019 Mar 12;3(5):777-788. (PMID: 30846427); Meyer et al. Blood 2012, 119:1064. (PMID:22134166). We are seeking individuals with experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, in vivo mouse models for cardiovascular disease, and ultrasound imaging techniques.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in a biological science, chemistry, physics or other relevant area, M.D., or equivalent.
