英国利兹大学博士后职位—心脏核磁共振
Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMR)
University of Leeds
Job Description
Are you medically qualified and ambitious with an interest in research and cardiac magnetic resonance? Do you have experience of working in cardiology and cardiac imaging?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our research team, working on one of our research themes in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging. As part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, physicists and data scientists, you will be involved in research studies that aim to better understand the effects of cardiovascular risk factors such as diabetes or chronic inflammatory disease on cardiovascular health, evaluate the impact of coronary artery disease or valvular heart disease, or to study the effects of medical or interventional therapies using advanced CMR methods. You will lead your own studies in one of these areas, including methods development and clinical studies, as well as contributing to the work of the research group as a whole.
The post supports our institute’s internationally-leading research programme in cardiovascular imaging. The post holder will work with advanced MR methods including MR Spectroscopy, Diffusion Tensor Imaging, multi-directional flow and parametric mapping and our clinical trials team.
You will be supported in applying for an externally funded PhD fellowship at the University of Leeds. You will also have the opportunity to undertake clinical training in CMR up to Level 3.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a cardiology trainee, especially if you are aiming to sub specialise in the field of imaging, or pursue an academic career.
You will be medically qualified, with MRCP or equivalent, a training number in cardiology and full GMC registration.
