Yufe4Postdocs (Y4P) is an ambitious training programme co-funded by Horizon Europe’s Marie Sklodowska-Curie programme. It is part of the Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) Alliance, which brings together nine young research-intensive universities from across Europe. They are collaborating to contribute to a more competitive, innovative and united Europe.
YUFE4Postdocs aims to train future proof researchers, building bridges between academia and society. It features a novel evaluation procedure based primarily on qualitative judgement and offers an attractive training including interactive stakeholder engagement seminars and a variety of joint transferable skills training sessions.
The YUFE universities are pleased to announce two calls for postdoctoral research positions in all disciplines, with a project addressing one or more urban opportunities and challenges. Postdocs will carry out their projects anchored in a YUFE host university of their choice. They will define and develop their projects within YUFE focus area’s: Sustainability; Digital Society, Citizens Wellbeing; and European Identity.
In total, 51 positions are offered for researchers appointed across nine universities. Selected YUFE postdocs can conduct a research training project in a broad range of disciplines. Target audience of both calls are promising researchers that have obtained their PhD a maximum of 6 years before the call deadline.
The programme offers a number of benefits for postdoctoral researchers. These include:

- Support from stakeholder organizations involved as Associated Partners. Six business organizations and ten city and regional councils will contribute to the training program.
