美国加州大学旧金山分校博士后职位—生殖基因组学
Postdoctoral Position Reproductive Genomics
University of California San Francisco
Job Description
A Postdoctoral Research Opportunity is available at the University of California, San Francisco, in the laboratories of Aleksandar Rajkovic to study leiomyoma formation and genomics
Description
Postdoctoral position is available to study the genomics of leiomyoma formation (uterine tumors, fibroids) and non-invasive diagnostics. The laboratory utilizes transgenic animals that model Med12 mutation, known to associate with 70% of human leiomyomas to study origin of leiomyomas, genomic rearrangements, epigenomics and cell types. Moreover, the laboratory is also analyzing human leiomyomas for cellular heterogeneity and non-invasive diagnostics with single cell transcriptomics and spatial transcriptomics. The laboratory utilizes molecular and cellular biological techniques, whole exome and genome sequencing, chromosomal microarrays, CRISPR generated humanized mouse animal models, and targeted knockouts. The candidate will also be exposed to human and animal experimentation.
Job Requirements
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics or related fields; experience with reproductive tract is preferred but not essential. Experience with transgenic mouse models and basic molecular biology techniques are desirable.
