A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Dilek Colak through the Brain and Mind Research Institute at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, NY.
Project: Modeling Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using genetically modified mouse models and iPSC-derived organoids. The study will involve wide range of techniques such as mouse behavioral assays, stereotaxic injections, calcium imaging, synaptic plasticity studies, brain organoid cultures, electrophysiology (in collaboration with other lab members), molecular assays etc.
You must have experience in neuroscience and be in possession of a PhD. Please DO NOT APPLY if you do not have experience in AT LEAST ONE of the following: mouse studies, neuroscience, autism, glial cells, neurons. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
