The Functional Organic Materials Lab led by Professor Xiaoran Hu in the chemistry department andBioinspired Institute at Syracuse University is seeking a post-doctoral scholar to conduct research on stimuli-responsive organic materials and/or drug delivery.

Required skills: the ideal candidates will haveextensive experience in ONE or both of the following areas: 

• Synthesis of complex organic compounds.Additional experience with polymer synthesis and/or materials self-assembly is preferred.

• Drug delivery. Experience with pDNA, siRNA and/or mRNA is preferred.

Start date is flexible (around June 2023 – January2024)
