St. Jude is seeking an outstanding candidate for postdoctoral fellow in multi-omics research. As a fellow you will join Dr. Qian Li’s lab in the Department of Biostatistics, providing computational or statistical support and developing analytical methods at the cutting edge of omics studies. One position is available with an appointment of two years. Dr. Qian Li’s methodological research focuses on (temporal) omics data, such as transcriptomics, metagenomics, and metabolomics. This postdoctoral fellow will develop innovative methods and tools for large-scale omics data analysis, including the integration of multi-omics data, in pediatric catastrophic disease. St. Jude leads two of the world’s largest pediatric survivorship research studies, St. Jude LIFE and the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study (CCSS), and the largest pediatric cancer genome database, St. Jude Cloud.

Minimum Experience
Successful applicants will have excellent presentation and communication skills. A Ph.D. in biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, or computer science is required. Strong programming and visualization skills in R, Python, or C/C++ is preferred. Background in statistical genomics, longitudinal modeling, non-parametric statistics, statistical and machine learning, deep learning are all encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a strong computational background and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
