This individual will design and conduct experiments in areas of host molecular and cellular signaling that are impacted by gut-derived metabolites. This individual will examine the role of nitric oxide signaling as an unexplored contributor to host-microbiome interactions. A strong background in cellular or molecular signaling and molecular biology is highly desirable.
