About the position
This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented and highly motivated candidate with 1-3 years’ post-doctoral experience or equivalent.
The Faculty of Society and Design are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to contribute an innovative cognitive neuroscience research program. This program is focused on examining the role of electrocortical activity in cognition, healthy aging, and well-being, and the position would suit candidates with experience in the collection and analysis of electroencephalographic (EEG) data.
The successful candidate would be situated within the School of Psychology at the Faculty of Society and Design at Bond University, and would work closely with Dr Douglas Angus, Dr Oliver Baumann, Professor Ahmed Moustafa, and Dr Victor Schinazi.
About the person
The successful candidate will:
Hold a PhD in cognitive neuroscience or a relevant area
Evidence of significant and relevant publications, relative to opportunity
Knowledge and experience in collecting and analyzing electroencephalographic data
Proficient in the analysis of electroencephalographic data in MATLAB or Python based environments
Enthusiasm and a high level of communication skills both written and verbal
Cultural awareness and sensitivity in dealing with staff and students from diverse backgrounds
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
