Postdoctoral Scholar in Cell Signaling and Neurodevelopment

Position description
The postdoctoral researcher will work on projects related to the regulation of signaling transduction in brain development. The candidate is expected to conduct experiments in cultured cells and in mouse model, to interpret the results, and to write manuscripts on the results. The candidate is expected to develop his/her own research questions within the scope of the project. This candidate will also participate in grant writing and student mentoring, and presenting at scientific meetings. The postdoctoral fellow position is supported by an NIH R01 grant.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications
A PhD degree in the related field of molecular and cell biology, developmental biology, or neurobiology.
Preferred qualifications
Prior training in neurodevelopment or cell signaling and primary cilium.
