Postdoctoral fellow positions are open immediately to study the role of cellular metabolism and inflammasome activation in the regulation of lung injury, repair, and fibrosis. The major focus of the lab is to delineate the role of metabolic dysregulations in a variety of pulmonary cells in lung injury, repair and fibrosis. Highly motivated applicants with a strong background in innate immunity, cellular metabolism, mitochondrial biology, and molecular biology are expected. Experience with genetically modified mice is preferred. The successful candidate should be able to design, perform and interpret experiments, and to write manuscripts for publication and presentation.
