We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic postdoc to decipher the molecular mechanisms controlling the optimal intensity of oncogenic RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK signaling in malignant melanoma , particularly the crosstalk between the AMPK and ERK signaling pathways. The ambitious project builds partly on our previously published findings (Verlande et al. EMBO Rep. 2018 Feb;19(2):320-336) and more recent unpublished discoveries. The successful applicant will use various molecular and cell biology techniques – e.g., confocal microscopy, molecular cloning, flow cytometry, site-directed mutagenesis, expression profiling, proteomics, and immunoprecipitations.

Our successful candidate should:

Hold a Ph.D. degree in Molecular biology, biochemistry, or a similar field, awarded in the last eight years;

Have hands-on experience with a wide range of biochemical and molecular biology techniques;

Have excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to work in a team;

Be independent and enthusiastic;

Be fluent in spoken and written English (at level C1 or higher).
