YOUR TASKS

  Designing specific granular fuzzy rough set models, and performing theoretical analysis of their properties

  Setting up large-scale experimental studies with benchmark data to evaluate these models;

  Guiding PhD students, and working together with senior researchers, involved in the Odysseus project “Fuzzy sets and rough sets for machine learning, sentiment analysis and web intelligence”

  Reporting and presenting your research in top-tier international journals and conferences;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  You hold a thesis-based doctorate in computer science.

  You have thorough experience of recent developments on granular approximations and fuzzy rough sets

  You are skilled at setting up experiments

  You possess good interpersonal and team-playing skills

  You are proficient in English

  You have published in top scientific journals in the computer science domain

  You have excellent programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, …).

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period of 3 months.

  Your contract will start on 1/11/2022 at the earliest.

  Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate). Click here for more information about our salary scales.
