A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Venuprasad Poojary in the Department of Internal Medicine, Digestive and Liver, at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Our lab studies inflammation and cancer in mouse models (Kumar R et al., Trends in Immunol, 2022; Thiess et al., Cell Reports, 2022; Mukherjee S et al. Nat. Immunol, 2021; Singh AK et al. Nat. Commun, 2021; Kathania M et al., Nat. Immunol, 2016, etc.). Our goal is to identify key regulatory mechanisms in the immune cells that regulate inflammation and to target these pathways in human diseases. The Poojary laboratory is well equipped for in vitro biochemical/molecular/cellular studies and in vivo animal studies in immunology and cancer biology.
Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is recommended.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in biological science or other related disciplines. Experience in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or Cancer research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.
