Position Summary:
The Vascular Surgery Research Laboratory at Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a postdoctoral associate who can lead studies in peripheral arterial atheroprogression and lipid metabolism.
The postdoctoral researcher will have the opportunity to work with collaborators from multiple departments at Washington University, and work in a vibrant and productive environment to develop an independent research project. Existing studies in the laboratory include unique translational collaborations with radiology, endocrinology, molecular cell biology, and biomedical engineering. In addition to high-quality research facilities, career and professional development training for postdoctoral researchers is provided through the Career Center, Teaching Center, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, and various campus groups. Application Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have at least a PhD in a basic science discipline, very good scientific writing skills, and have a strong publication record. Competitive applicants will have stellar recommendation letters from previous or current employers, and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
