美国加州大学圣地亚哥分校博士后职位—心血管科学方向
Postdoctoral Scientist – Cardiovascular – UCSD
Postdoctoral Scientist – Cardiovascular – UCSD
(University of California, San Diego)
Postdoctoral research positions focused on cardiovascular science are available in the lab of Dr. Robert Ross, Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
NIH and other grant funded work in the lab focuses on the molecular basis of heart disease, specifically hypertrophy, heart failure, myocardial ischemia/infarction, and conduction system abnormalities. We currently have interests in studying cell-cell, cell-matrix, and mitochondrial proteins. Some of our work also focuses on these proteins in skeletal muscle pathologies. We make extensive use of genetically manipulated mouse models paired with physiological measurements and surgical manipulations, along with cell-based studies. Collaborative work utilizes patch clamping, transcriptomics, and proteomics, including single cell “omics” technologies. Additional information and publications can be found at: https://profiles.ucsd.edu/robert.ross The laboratory provides a superb collegial training environment and is based in a wonderful open-lab structure. Groups from 10 PIs all using basic and translational approaches to study cardiovascular function, disease, and development, collaborate, interact, and have joint meetings.
Qualified candidates should have a PhD, MD or equivalent; be highly motivated and have expertise in molecular and cellular biology, as well as mouse modeling of disease. Individuals should be able to design and troubleshoot experiments independently. Specific expertise with approaches to study cardiovascular biology and disease, physiological measurements and/or surgical manipulations of mice would be advantageous.
Applicants should have excellent organizational skills, be able to be able to work independently as well as with others in the lab and collaborative teams. Command of both spoken and written English is needed as presentations, manuscript production and applications for external grants will be expected, as facilitated by working with the PI.
The UCSD postdoctoral salary scale is above NIH stipend levels and will be commensurate with experience. Full benefits are described in detail at:

Interested individuals should apply by including curriculum vitae, statement of personal objectives, and names and contact information of three professional references to:
