Position Description

Dr. Ivaylo Ivanov and the laboratory of mucosal immunology within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Columbia University are seeking candidates for two fully funded Postdoctoral Research Scientist positions. The Ivanov laboratory uses in vivo and “-omics” approaches to study the interplay between commensal microbes and host physiology with focus on mucosal and tissue immunology. The Postdoctoral Research Scientists will conduct research in the areas of intestinal immune homeostasis, dietary effects on microbiota and host immunity, or microbiota engineering. Qualifications

Minimum Degree Required: Ph.D. or M.D.

Minimum Requirements: Candidates with prior experience in lymphocyte biology, epithelial cell biology, computational immunology, mucosal immunology or animal disease models are encouraged to apply. At least one first author peer-reviewed publication is required.
