美国加州理工学院博士后职位—DNA复制与修复的分子机制
CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (Caltech)
Postdoctoral fellow positions are immediately available in the Semlow Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Our lab is interested in exploring the molecular mechanisms of DNA replication and repair and understanding how deficits in these processes contribute to cancer and genetic diseases. We interrogate the function of DNA repair factors using approaches spanning molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and structural biology. Additionally, we are performing genome-wide screens to identify novel DNA repair pathways and developing mass spectrometry methods to uncover new DNA lesions. At Caltech, postdoctoral fellows will contribute to an outstanding and supportive intellectual environment and enjoy access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
We seek motivated individuals to join our highly collaborative research group. Candidates should have a strong background in the life sciences, chemistry, or a related discipline, a record of research productivity, and a desire to pursue important problems in the DNA repair field. Interested applicants are encouraged to send a CV with a summary of research interests to Dan Semlow, PhD (dsemlow@caltech.edu).
We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
