Innovative projects and interdisciplinary cooperation characterize research within the

UMG. The research group of Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Zeisberg invites applications for

positions as Postdocs (f/m/d). The position is funded by a grant from the German

Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation (SPRIN-D) and by department funds to

further develop a novel CRISPR/Cas13-based antiviral therapy against SARS-CoV-2.

The Zeisberg Lab consists of an international and highly motivated team of outstanding

scientists, students and technicians. Work will include collaborative research at the

national and international level.

Your profile:

– PhD or equivalent academic degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular

Medicine, Physics or Chemistry with a strong background either in molecular

biology or in drug delivery

– motivated, team-oriented and flexible

Your task:

– participate in development of a novel antiviral CRISPR/Cas13 platform

technology
