Postdoctoral Researcher – Ritual Modes Project
School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography, Banbury Road, Oxford, OX2 6PE Grade 7: £33,309 -£40,927 p.a.
The Centre for the Study of Social Cohesion (CSSC) is looking to recruit a Postdoctoral Researcher in Experimental Psychology for an ERC Advanced Grant project directed by Professor Harvey Whitehouse. The post will be based within the School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography at the University of Oxford.
The post-holder will contribute to research on the psychological mechanisms underlying social cohesion and intergroup conflict.
The post-holder will manage their own academic research and administrative activities. Drawing on their experience with conducting lab based and online experimental research, they will use existing psychology and other social science methodologies to undertake research activities, including detailed qualitative and quantitative data analyses, to deliver a set of experimental studies.
The deadline for applications is 5th January 2022.
Interviews are likely to take place in the week commencing 17th January 2022.
Ideally, the post-holder will be able to commence before 1st March 2022.
