Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering, University of Zagreb is announcing aJob vacancy

For the election of an employee (m/f) into an associate title and a temporary full-time job position of the first category of a postdoctoral researcher or a professional title and a job position of a research assistant in the system of science and higher education in a scientific area: Technical sciences, field Interdisciplinary technical sciences in the Department for Environmental Engineering until the return of an employee from maternity leave.

Applicants have to fulfil the requirements prescribed by the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Law (OG No. 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 46/07, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15, 131/17).

Besides an application form, applicants also have to submit the following documents: a CV with their signature, data on scientific, teaching and professional activities, a notarized copy of a diploma of a completed appropriate postgraduate or a graduate university study programme, a doctoral degree diploma of an appropriate field (only for a postdoctoral researcher) and proof of citizenship. An application and documents should also be sent on a CD.

While assessing the candidates, their achievements during a doctoral study programme will be taken into account (only for a postdoctoral researcher), the length of their study, point grade average during their doctoral/graduate study, awards they received during their study and their scientific and professional work.

Those applicants whose mother tongue isn`t Croatian have to submit proof of knowledge of the Croatian language, level C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The deadline for submitting applications is 30 days from the date of the job vacancy announcement. The documents should be sent to the following address: University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering, Hallerovaaleja 7, 42000 Varaždin.

The selection procedure will be carried out in accordance with the Ordinance on Job Vacancy Announcement and Implementation at the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering.
