Job description
Applications are invited from highly motivated post-doctoral research scientists to apply for a post-doctoral research position to work within the Biological Psychiatry group within the Department of Clinical Neuroscience and Neuroimaging at Brighton and Sussex Medical School
The successful applicant will have a record of high-quality research technical skills applicable to human experimental neuroscience. Applicants must have a PhD, or have at least submitted a PhD thesis, in a relevant neuroscientific discipline.
Experience in neuroimaging of brain perfusion and metabolism, and diffusion-weighted MRI supporting coding (Matlab, Python) and analytic platforms (e.g. SPM, FSL, AFNI) is essential.
Similarly, experience in clinical studies involving human subjects undergoing experimental procedures and clinical assessments relevant to neurological or mental health conditions, is essential.
