We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive statistician to join the Academic Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism Group to investigate various cardiometabolic databases. Candidates must have a good degree (First or Upper Second) and a PhD or equivalent experience in medical statistics, or a related quantitative field. Relevant experience in this field is essential as is experience of using statistical analysis tools (e.g., STATA, R). The ideal candidate will also have experience of analysing genetic data and developing statistical analysis plans for prospective and retrospective datasets. They must have demonstrable skills in handling and analysing large datasets, and the ability to work on databases in secured environments (e.g. data safe haven). The post-holder will be expected to work across various disease areas, so excellent time management skills and a flexible approach are crucial.
