We are recruiting postdoctoral fellows and visiting scholars.

Dr. Lu Han’s lab in the Herma Heart Institute, Department of Pediatrics, Cardiovascular Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin seeks highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellows who are passionate about basic cell biology questions and willing to use fundamental concepts and biological procedures to lead and design complex scientific research in the cardiology field.

The research interests of the Han lab reside at the interface of Cell Biology, Genomics, and Cardiology. We employ several experimental systems, including engineered mouse models and human-induced pluripotent stem cells, to understand the cellular mechanisms that govern the proliferation and differentiation of heart muscle cells. We also utilize a variety of molecular and computational techniques to understand the diversity of cellular behavior via single-cell functional genomics. 

Our goal is to provide a cell biology view to better understand human heart disease and develop regenerative strategies.

• Ph.D. degree is required, with publication(s) in international journals.

• Cell biology background is preferred but not required.
