Faculty Position in Molecular Parasitology at the Institute of Cell
Biology, University of Bern, Switzerland
The Institute of Cell Biology (ICB: https:// www. izb.unibe.ch) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship or tenured associate professorship position (commensurate with experience).
The current research themes of the institute are Systems Biology, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Genomics, and Molecular Parasitology.
Candidates exploring modern, fundamental questions in Molecular Parasitology will be considered. The successful candidate will have an outstanding research portfolio, is expected to raise external funding, and to participate in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.
We offer ample laboratory space, a generous start-up package and institutional funding for personnel.
The appointment is envisioned to start on the 1st of February 2022.
