Postdoc Position in Data Mining

The Data Science and Statistics Group, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southern Denmark (Professor Arthur Zimek) invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship within the field of data mining to be filled as soon as possible, earliest by 1 September 2021, for a period of three years.
The research project targets the development and deeper understanding of ensemble methods and evaluation methodology for unsupervised outlier detection.
We are seeking outstanding candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who are convincing in written and oral communication (in English), and have experience in machine learning and data mining (in particular unsupervised learning, ideally outlier detection), documented by publications at strong venues. The successful candidate will participate in independent research projects and assist in the supervision of students.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science is located at the main campus of the University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark.
