Fellow position available in the Buchwald Lab in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Emory University School of Medicine and Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Dr. Zachary Buchwald is seeking a highly motivated graduate interested in obtaining postdoctoral training in basic/translational research immunology.
The fellow will be involved in project(s) involved in understanding how radiation enhances the anti-tumor CD8 T-cell immune response, how to modulate immune-toxicity from checkpoint blockade and radiation, and using radiation in non-malignant inflammatory disease.
Dr.Buchwald is a new PI and physician-scientist with a strong publication track record and many projects that are likely to yield high impact publications.
Dr.Buchwald is strongly committed to the career development of trainees and is interested in recruiting a motivated postdoc excited to join a new laboratory.
Candidates must have visiting scholar、PhD or MD/PhD degree. Competitive applicants will have experience in tumor immunology, and/or viral immunology and first author publications in well-regarded scientific journals. Previous experience, with mice, flow cytometry, immunology knowledge would be a plus.
